Georgina’s Stepmother found the original shortly after Georgina’s father’s death and we arranged to have it published. It describes the natural and social history of the Great Ouse, particularly in the Bedford area where my father spent time as a child and young man. It also refers to John Bunyan and also a poet named William Cowper. We think the original manuscript was completed in the early 1950s. The book is published as a paperback and has 229 pages. It retails at 8.99
