The Museum is dedicated to the life, times & works of John Bunyan. The museum originates from 1946 a refurbishment was started in 1988 by members of the Bunyan Meeting Church it took 10 years of fund raising and work before reopening in 1998. It contains a large number of artefacts and books relating to John Bunyan’s life in the 17th century including his imprisonment in Bedford.
